TLA Funding Readiness Audit

Funding Readiness Audit | Find Out What's Blocking Your Business Funding

Most denials aren't about your idea. They come from gaps in personal credit, business setup, commercial credit history or banking that lenders spot in minutes. Our Funding Readiness Audit finds every one of those gaps, tells you plainly whether you're ready to apply, and shows you what to resolve first.

  • 20-point business compliance audit
  • Experian, D&B and Equifax reviewed separately
  • Your first three actions, clearly named

Lenders judge every application on four things:

  • Personal credit
  • Business compliance
  • Commercial credit
  • Banking & financials
Why good businesses get denied

Applying Blind Is the Most Expensive Mistake in Business Funding

Every application can mean a hard inquiry, and every denial makes the next one harder. These are the gaps we see stop owners most often — usually without them knowing.

01

Personal credit holding you back

High utilization, late payments or inaccurate negative items drag down the score most lenders check first.

02

Inconsistent business details

Your name, address or phone don't match across the IRS, state filings, bank and listings — an instant red flag.

03

No business credit file

No D-U-N-S number, no reporting accounts, no payment history — so there's nothing for an underwriter to approve.

04

Too new to qualify

Many products require a minimum time in business, and new entities get auto-declined. An aged shelf company can help you meet that requirement.

05

Weak banking profile

Low average balances, a young bank account or past banking problems quietly lower your limits.

06

Debt in the wrong places

Stacked MCAs or high balances change how lenders read your ability to repay.

How the audit gets you funded

Fix the Gaps First. Then Apply Where You'll Be Approved.

The audit turns funding from guesswork into a plan. You'll know what's hurting you, what to fix first, and which funding fits your profile once you do.

Without an audit

  • Apply and hope — denials with no clear reason
  • Hard inquiries pile up on every attempt
  • Fix the wrong things, in the wrong order
  • Settle for low limits or expensive money

With the Funding Readiness Audit

  • See exactly what an underwriter will flag
  • Resolve issues in the order that matters most
  • Apply when your profile is ready, not before
  • Target funding that fits your business
What we review

Underwriting Before the Underwriting

The audit reviews your business the way a lender will see it. It's a full business credit audit that finds what a lender would find, before the lender finds it.

What is a Funding Readiness Audit?

It's a fundability and lender-preparation diagnostic — “underwriting before the underwriting.” We review your business the way a lender will: legal and identity records, the commercial credit bureaus, public records and UCC filings, banking and financial documents, the personal guarantor file and funding product fit. You get a report showing what already passes, what needs improvement, what requires action and what is still pending — and the order to address it.

How does the audit help me get funding?

Most denials come from problems owners don't know they have. The audit shows you exactly what an underwriter will see, so you can resolve those issues first and apply for funding that fits your profile — instead of collecting denials and hard inquiries.

Can the audit help if I've already been denied?

Yes — that's one of the best times to do it. The audit pinpoints what likely caused the denial and what to change before you reapply.

Will I get a single funding readiness score?

Only when your file supports one. We don't publish a composite score on an incomplete file, because it would misrepresent your business. Every item is still rated, and a composite score can be issued at reassessment once the key corrections are complete.

Does the audit include fixing the issues?

The audit identifies each issue and the correction path to use. Making the corrections — documents, account updates, bureau and bank communications — stays with you or the relevant bank, bureau or professional. TLA can help with certain corrections, business-credit building or reassessment under a separate engagement.

Does the audit guarantee funding?

No. The Funding Readiness Audit is a fundability and lender-preparation analysis — not a loan application, commitment or promise of financing. Final decisions are made by lenders and financial institutions.

How much does it cost?

You'll see the one-time audit fee on the final step of the intake, before you pay anything. There's no obligation to continue.

How long does the intake take?

About 15 minutes. Your progress saves on your device, so you can stop and come back.

Do I need every document to start?

No. Upload what you have. Items marked “If Available” are optional, and if you've already sent us documents, only upload what's remaining.

I don't know my NAICS, D-U-N-S or business credit numbers.

That's common. Enter “I Don't Know” and we'll look them up as part of the audit.

How is my information protected?

Your intake is stored privately in our system, not in email. Uploaded documents sit in an access-controlled folder only our team can open, and any passwords you share are encrypted.
